Lady GaGa: Poker Face – VIOLA TRIO COVER (split screen)

This video is featured in a commercial promoting the 52nd Grammy Awards on CBS … also seen here: www.youtube.com Lady GaGa : Poker Face – VIOLA TRIO COVER (split screen) * “HQ” — Make sure you watch in “High Quality” This is the 11th video in my continuing series of classicalized popular music. The song was requested by so many people its hard to point the finger at any one. The original video of the song may be seen here: www.youtube.com This performance is the 6th of my split screen videos where I play with myself, and the 2nd where I play a trio with myself. It’s all about the viola this time, just like Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No.6, a concerto for strings, yet it features no violin parts. I steal my ideas from the masters of course. To do this video, I listened to the original song and by ear wrote out a sheet music score, then arranged it as a trio for 3 violas, and then performed it. I recorded each part separately. I was able to sync up and mix the 3 parts on my computer with a sound wave editor. To do the split screen, I used AviSynth (scripting based video editing and effects utility) in combination with VirtualDubMod (a free video editing utility) to sync up and render the two videos into a single split screen video. The sound then had to be synced to the 3 videos playing simultaneously and properly mixed. My AviSynth script for this video: viola1 = crop(AVISource(“N:\PokerFace\VIOLA_1.avi”),256,0,-60,0) viola2 = crop(AVISource(“N:\PokerFace\VIOLA_2.avi

Poker in Montana – Texas Holdem Split Pots

To better understand the game of Texas holdem poker you must know the basic terms used in the game. Suits are spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs. Suited is the term for having the same suit. Rank refers to the order of the cards, example Jack, Queen and Ace. Texas holdem split pot happens when multiple players tie for a hand, then pot is split up evenly among the winners. Kicker refers to the other cards left over after a hand is declared.

The pot is split only in cases where the kicker does not apply or is not relevant. Where the best five cards are held by both players then the pot is split. One example that can best explain this situation is when; the community card is composed of Queen, 9, 9, 8 and Ace. Player A has King-Queen and player B has Queen-Jack.

The best possible hand that two players can make is 9, 9, Queen, Queen and ace. Notice the Ace beats both kickers so it is the best kicker. If that Ace didn’t hit on the last card, then the player with the King would have one based on his kicker.

Here is another example of a split pot in a situation where two players have a straight. One player has 4 clubs and Jack diamonds. Another player has 3 hearts and Jack spades. The community cards are 10 hearts, 9 diamonds, 7 spades, 8 clubs and 2 diamonds. The hands that both players can make are jack high straight.

If the best possible five card hand is a straight, the kickers don’t apply. The decision in this case is a split pot since the two players can make the same hand. In case of a tie in a full house, the pot will be split. Holdem poker has never given precedence to one suite over the other. The type of suit a player has is not a tie-breaking factor either.

(Blackjack question) Do you agree with the double down and split strategy in this question?

I’ve been using the strategy chart off of http://wizardofodds.com/blackjack/strategy/4deck.html and it has really brought my blackjack game up a lot since I first began playing not long ago. It’s a great chart and teaches a lot….I just wanted to know if some professional/really good blackjack players agreed with some areas of the chart here though.

I find that some of the double downs are aggressive and maybe a little too loose. When I have a 11 I usually don’t double down against a dealer 10/9……and when I have a ten I don’t like doubling against a dealer 9.

The aces double downs look good to me.

I don’t have a lot of knowledge about splits…are they ok here? I normally only split aces.
to legfu: lol that wasn’t really what I meant. I was just looking for some good players on here to give an argument that would prove my thoughts wrong basically.
