question about playing slot machines?

I am a low ball player-I can only play 20.00 a visit, and I usually go once a month. I can play for a few hours using nickel slots (10 cents a spin), winning small amounts here and there. I have a chance of winning more if I play the 25 cent machines but then I end up only able to play a short while and could walk away with nothing. What is your gambling style? What if you were on a strict budget, how would you play?

Underage gambling question?

I have recentley have had no problems at all gambling underage in the casinos I rarely ever get carded but if I do get carded I have my brothers ID, SSI card, Credit card, not stolen he is aware because he lets me sneak into the casinos since I am not old enough and he knows I have a good time. I understand that gambling is horrible and you cannot win I am not a huge gambler but I have made many cash outs on blackjack tables for $1k+ and have won alot of money playing poker…basically I have been playing and won alot of money from casinos and had no problem collecting. How much trouble can I get into if caught using my brothers identity? I mean most likely they will throw me out if not I can go to jail for how long? I know the casinos can get fined $125K. Also could I go on the news and show them how easy it is to buy beer, cigs, and gamble with no problem and not getting carded. I am 16 years old and have been doin this since I was 14 every once in awhile.
Thank you very much.

Question about comps for slot playing?

I went to a casino in iowa and sat down at blackjack with 2000 dollars and played 100 a hand. as i’d win a few hundred i’d get up and blow my profit on 5$ slots, I’m sure I cycled 5000 through the slots. I was told at the comp club you one point that is a worth 1 penny per $3 gambled on slots. so after losing thousands in the slots i had 10$ on my players card. I’ve played this some casinos and had $150 i got back on my card for the same play. is a penny for $3/gambled below average?

Question about casino Blackjack?

Do you HAVE to be considerate of the other players at the table? Is there some kind of “etiquette” or “code” regarding that?

I realize that a bad play from one player can screw it up for everyone at the table except the person who made the play. One time when I was playing, there was a woman who kept doing the total opposite of basic strategy, but yet and still, she kept winning, while the rest of us were losing.

Example, she would take a hit on 14 while the dealer was showing a 5. Her hit card would be a 7, so she would win, but the rest of us who “stood” with our 13′s and stuff lost because the dealer didn’t bust out!

Everyone at the table was pissed at the time including me, but when I thought about it later, I said to myself “why should she care if we lost, as long as she won. She’s here to win money for herself, not to make sure everyone wins”.

Do I HAVE to be considerate of the table,or can I do what I want to make sure I win, and say screw everyone else?

Statistics / Gambling Question?

A card counter decides to go to a casino to the blackjack table. He will only bet when the player has the advantage. He will bet the following:

With a 0.5% advantage $25, which occurs 6.48% of the time.
1.0% = $40, 4.03% of the time.
1.5% = $55, 2.37% of the time.
2.0% and higher = $75, 4.00% of the time.
The other 83.12% of the time he will bet $0.

What is the expected win, and win/loss range for one standard deviation (68.3% of the time) and two standard deviations (95% of the time) if the card counter plays 100 hands? 1,000 hands? 10,000 hands? (Hands where he bets 0 count as hands.)
An advantage of 0.5 means that for every $100 bet he will make 50 cents over the long term. But over the short term he will lose $25 bets and win $25 bets, and so on. Which leads to standard deviation.

Question about Casino Comp in Vegas?

Any Vegas dealers, pit bosses or experienced players out there. I have a few questions about how comps are determined:

1. In Craps, is it true that only pass line bets and come bets are counted for comp purpose, where as odd bets (with zero house advantage) are not counted?

2. In Blackjack, am I going to be comped differently if I play $200 per hand as opposed to playing two hands at the same time of $100 each.

Thank you.

This question is for the persons who know about online casino gambling.?

Online casinos normally start the game of blackjack with the players placing their initial bets. Once all wagers are placed, the virtual dealer proceeds to dealing the cards. Online casinos normally start the game of blackjack with the players placing their initial bets. Once all wagers are placed, the virtual dealer proceeds to dealing the cards. Each player is dealt two cards, including the dealer. A “blackjack” is when a player is dealt an initial 2-card hand that produces a 21 as a result of a ten-value card (i.e. a 10, king, queen or jack) combined with an Ace. If a player manages to land such a hand, he wins immediately.

Could you pls explain A “blackjack” is when a player is dealt an initial 2-card hand that produces a 21 as a result of a ten-value card (i.e. a 10, king, queen or jack) combined with an Ace

It would be great if you could put this text in a layman’s language

A question concerning blackjack and card counting…?

First off, If I understand correctly the only benefit of keeping track of cards and a current “true count” is that you may bet more than the minimum if the table is positive.

My question is this – even without continuous shuffling – if you have a 6 – 8 deck shoe that is pulled to be shuffled with 60 – 80% of the shoe left – does it make any mathematical and/or practical sense to try to keep track of a count? I haven’t crunched any numbers but if you are constantly keeping track of every thing on the table and are trying to keep track of the true count – sometimes dividing by 12 or 16 and still watching everything going on with high/low numbers – only to have the shoe pulled before you get half way though it.

Second – if there is any mathematical benefit – is it worth it for the player to try to mentally keep track over everything going if they barely have funds to cover 20x minimum bet when they go to the table?

Thanks for any answers.
