This is simple demonstration on how to do the mission Green Goo in the The Desert. To get rid of the Jetpack, you must enter one of the cranes. There are four different cranes in San Andreas; in this video, I used the crane in Las Ventures. After that, CJ cannot enter any vehicles, so in order to allow him to enter vehicles, he must either eat a snack from a vending machine or use one of the slot machines in any of the casinos.
