But do the odds and percentages take into account that the dealer has looked at his hole card and it is not a 10? This seems to me to be a very important factor because by not having 21, you now know that he does not have 16 of the cards that will make his hand…I asked this yesterday, but I don’t think the strategy acknowledges that the dealer checks his hole card…..

I often play $5 blackjack & put $1 above my bet to tip for the dealer. I have read on some sites, if I am only going to bet for the dealer $1, it is better to tip nothing. Would you rather me tip you nothing, or just give you $5 after a session without betting on my cards for you?
