Can someone explain the 5 count method for Craps?

I understand the principal is the watch the first 3 rolls and after you get the third count you begin to play the “come/pass” line. Do I bet before then?

And I’m taking it that the principal is to bet more than the minimum on someone who reaches the 5 count but can someone clarify that? I would love to play craps and increase my odds because I am currently a dumb player allured by the opportunity of quick money that never pays out.

In the game of craps has anyone found that casino personnel become annoyed when you count your money?

For instance, after a payout, if I count my money to see if the dealer has paid me the correct amount and has not made a mistake do they have a tendency to become annoyed by this if it is done regularly? Just curious because I know a guy who was short changed a couple of times after winning at the craps table.

Blackjack question on card counting (how to play when true count is in favor)?

Ok, so I’ve learned everything about the basic strategy (like always splitting your aces/8s, hitting 16-12 if dealer has 7 or higher, when to double down, etc.). I’ve got that all done. But I know that the only way to crack the casino is to actually count cards.

So I know that 2-6 is +1 and 10-A is -1…..and you keep counting and you divide by the number of decks left to get your true count. That’s simple. But what I was wondering….is how you are supposed to play after you make a big bet (while having the true count in your favor).

Like if you get a 14 while the dealer has an 8…..should you still hit your 14….because to me it seems like you now have a great chance of busting out? Is it still worth it to hit it? Just stuff like that.

Or are you just supposed to keep playing the same way when the true count is in your favor….but just bet bigger?

How do you count cards in BlackJack?

I’m a magician, and a lot of people see me play blackjack. When they ask if they can play, I say yes, and I’ve always wanted to show them that I can predict what hand they have, and whether they win or lose. I’m not sking this to know how to cheat in a casino or something. I’m 13, and I want to show my friends at school what I can do. Please help me!

Uston APC Betting Count?

I dont know if theres any blackjack counters here but…..ill try….

Ok, anyone who knows Uston APC Counting method, knows that there is a “True Count” and a “Betting Count” (which incorporates an ace-side count)

Starting from the top of a 4-Deck Shoe, the true count is 0 (ofcourse)
But then , the “Betting count” is 6?? (becuz the deck is so many aces rich)

Is this correct? am i doing sumthing wrong?

When card counting do you count the other cards from players at the table too?

ok so I understand the basis of card counting and the +/- number system but here is my question … when counting are you also able to count the cards of the other players at the table or is it strictly between you and the dealer? (now this is where my blackjack question comes into play) so i have never played blackjack at a casino so i am unsure how it works, but when you are dealt, the first card is down while the second is up for all to see. So when does the first card get flipped? when you start to hit or stand etc and is this when you are able to count the cards else where on the table from other players?

How does basic blackjack strategy vary with the count?

Ok, so i understand how to vary the bet size according to the count. But i dont know EXACTLY how to modify basic strategy depending on the count. ie. when to split 10′s, stand on 16 etc. Does anyone know or where i can find out.

Please let me know what counting strategy you answer applies to.

I’m also looking to write a program that keeps the perfect count so i know every card left in the deck. How can i use this info to sdjust basic strategy.

Thanks.
Legfujohnson – Depends where you are playing ;)
materyebyets – if the count was high, I would split 10s, but at what count would i split 10s against a six for example? Against an 8 surely the count would need to be even higher to split 10s. I’m looking for exact numbers here.
