In the advanced form of tarot card counting the court cards have the power to change the direction of the count. This gives the reading more complexity and subtlety, but it can also be confusing. Changing direction brings an element of free will to the reading. The original Golden Dawn instructions specified the direction, but with reversed cards, it is better to have the option of going in either direction.

Where 2,3,4,5,6 have a value of +1, 7,8,9 a neutral value of 0, and 10, jack, queen, king, and ace have a value of -1. Is there a formula that can be used to determine the % chance that a high or low value card will be drawn? Like say the current true count is +6, odds are that either a high or neutral card will be drawn next, but is there a way to determine the exact odds?
