las vegas blackjack etiquette

[mage lang="" source="flickr"]las vegas blackjack etiquette[/mage]

You may not be sitting face to face with the other players, but that doesn’t mean that you can forget everything you were ever taught about being polite. Nobody likes a bully or a foul mouth, whether it is in person or when you want to enjoy yourself online. The best online casinos will have rules of etiquette that have to be followed, or you won’t be allowed to play.

Besides being a bully or abusing the online chat room with vulgar language, let’s take a look at some other niceties you should adhere to. It is your obligation to learn how to play the game. Whether you want to play poker, blackjack, roulette or any other online game that you don’t know how to play, you should do some research. You can’t expect to have others who understand the basics to teach you. Most of the online casino gambling sites will let you play for free so that you can become acquainted with playing. You will not be very welcome if you aren’t ready to take part from the moment the game begins. This could also slow down the game and make it less enjoyable for everyone.

Be a good sport, even if you don’t feel like it. Sportsmanship is important in every aspect of the gaming world. No one should have to suffer through your show of temper because you didn’t bet wisely. You may think it won’t show through in an online casino, but you are wrong. Just because no one can physically see you, don’t think you have the right to behave poorly. You will be showing that you are inexperienced in the online game you are playing and in using the manners that you were taught.

Cheating is becoming more prevalent as sites keep popping up on the internet telling you how to do it. Nobody likes a cheater, and if you happen to get caught you will be banned from playing. You may actually think you are getting away with something, but you will find out differently. Cheating can quickly turn into a crime which, as everyone knows, can get you into big trouble. You really need to stop and think if cheating is worth it, because in the end we all know it is not.

One thought you should always keep in mind when you are online casino gambling, is ‘would I do this same thing at a land casino?’ If the answer is yes, then you are probably using online gaming etiquette. If it would be offensive in Las Vegas or Monte Carlo then chances are good that it will be offensive online, too. Politeness is never going to be old fashioned; it is how we continue to function in a crazy world. When you show the same courtesy to your online casino players as you do in everyday life, you will be assured of a really great experience. Everyone wins when you are nice to other players online, so be the one who sets the example.

what is your opinion on the continuous shuffle blackjack games?

Me & my boyfriend play at the Pechanga, Morongo, Pala, Soboba & San Manuel Casinos & I notice that both of us tend to do better at the continuous shuffle tables instead of the double deck or if there might be one, a single deck(with bad payouts of 6/5 blackjack). I read on the wizard of odds that continuous shuffle blackjack has better odds.

If you like continuous shuffle, then you would love online blackjack software like Ultimate Bet who shuffle after every hand. There is also a trick betting system that you can use with UB that doesn’t work at the casinos. You can get the system for free at http://blackjackbettingstrategies.blogspot.com/

windows mobile 6.1 blackjack

windows mobile 6.1 blackjack

T-Mobile USA is taking the wraps off of a Wi-Fi-enabled smart phone, dubbed the T-Mobile Dash. The device will be available exclusively from T-Mobile beginning Oct. 25.The Windows Mobile-based smart phone offers an embedded instant messaging client, sports a built-in music player, features a 1.3-megapixel camera and comes equipped with an expandable memory slot.

The T-Mobile Dash provides quick and convenient access to personal and business e-mail, instant messaging and text messaging, as well as a great phone experience with speakerphone and Bluetooth connectivity for reliable hands-free use. T-Mobile Dash also includes a 1.3-megapixel camera for capturing those important moments and Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for music and video on-the-go.

The T-Mobile Dash is a myFaves-enabled phone, taking advantage of the new wireless communications experience available only through T-Mobile. Customers are empowered with a fun and easy-to-use phone interface which, when coupled with a myFaves rate plan, facilitates unlimited nationwide calling to any five U.S. phone numbers (excluding toll-free and 900 numbers).

Super sleek at just 0.51 inches thin and weighing 4.2 ounces, the T-Mobile Dash is built upon Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0 plat form, including Outlook Mobile for up-to-date e-mail, calendar and contact information. T Mobile Dash also supports the Messaging and Security Feature Pack with Direct Push Technology out-of-the-box, providing instant e-mail and enhanced security features (that let you wipe a device if stolen or require high-security passwords to access information).

The Dash is T-Mobiles weapon of choice in the battle for supremacy in the ultra-thin Smart phone market currently raging between it, Cingular’s BlackJack, and Verizon and Sprints Q. While all three devices are quite similar in size and functionality, the Dash has the distinct advantage of being the only device with built-in Wi-Fi, which even Palms top-selling Treo 700 series Phone Editions lack. This means that you can use the Dash to surf the Web and check and send e-mail from any Wi-Fi hotspot without having to pay for a data service plan. Please purchase on online www.luckywirelessusa.com

blackjack mac download

[mage lang="" source="flickr"]blackjack mac download[/mage]

Writing for CasinoForLionux.com has its privileges, and I was able to take advantage of some of them during the past weekend. I was given the wonderful task of checking out the tournaments (or tourneys as they are called in the online poker lingo) and ring games that some of our recommended sites have to offer. I chose to focus on Absolute Poker first, and, being the Mac freak that I am, used the “Instant Play†mode to sign up and play. The bad news I discovered was that Absolute Poker’s Instant Play currently only offers Holdem poker ring games, and does not support tournaments, freerolls and other poker variations.

The good news is that the interface is smooth, and the connectivity was perfect. It felt no different than any download-based poker client. In fact, with Instant Play I was connected to the Absolute Poker network, just as if I was playing with the normal downloadable game. I was able to take advantage of the great ring traffic at Absolute Poker, and play with all the other players on the site. Which leads me to the other bad news – I lost the little money I had in my budget to a three-of-a-kind (nines), while I was holding pocket rockets! Well, I can’t blame the software or anything but myself for that..

Obviously, we will keep you posted as soon as Absolute Poker comes out with the next version of Instant Play. The new version of the Java poker will support tournaments, freerols, Omaha and even blackjack. I was also informed by the support team that it is scheduled to come out soon, so keep checking in and we will keep you updated, as always, on all the latest in instant gaming.

May the goddess of luck smile upon all your poker hands (but don’t forget your pot odds),

Macky J

blackjack zen count

[mage lang="" source="flickr"]blackjack zen count[/mage]

The act of card counting itself is relatively easy. Plus one, minus one, zero… child’s play right?  Wrong.

As any professional blackjack player will tell you, the difficulty isn’t counting the cards, but remembering the count.  This is what separates the hacks from the pros.

Take it from me, I always used to forget the count, especially after playing for long periods of time.  I would have it in my head, and by the time the dealer had paid out, the number was gone.  Oops…

Sort of defeats the purpose of counting cards, don’t you think?

I will now share a trick with you that will guarantee much better success than I had starting out. The following words go along with the count, memorize them and you will never lose focus again.

+1 = Tree (one trunk)

+2 = Switch (two modes, on and off)

+3 = Stool (three legs)

+4 = Car (four wheels)

+5 = Glove (five fingers)

+6 = Gun (six rounds)

+7 = Craps (roll a seven and its craps)

+8 = Pool (the black 8 ball)

+9 = Cat (cat has nine lives)

+10 = Bowling (ten pins)

+11 = Football (eleven players on the field for each team)

+12 = Eggs (dozen eggs in a carton)

+13 = Witch (Friday 13th, unlucky 13, etc)

+14 = Ring (14k gold)

+15 = Paycheck (15th and 30th of every month)

+16 = Sweet (sweet 16)

+17 = Magazine (the magazine “Seventeen”)

+18 = Voting booth (18 to vote)

Try saying a sentence to yourself after each hand (not out loud of course or you will look like a weirdo).  For instance, if you have a count of +4 you could say, “I need to get my car washed this week”.  Get what I’m saying? One sentence is all you need to make it stick.

If the count is negative, the words stay the same, just keep in mind whether you are plus or minus and you’ll be just fine.

Practice, and you will see a sharp improvement in your card counting abilities.  I highly recommend the Zen Count if you are looking to learn a new system as it has very high effectiveness.  That being said, have fun and good luck at the tables!
